I have been using a 3s battery and it will shoot straight up VERY fast.
This small quad is a lot of fun so far.
Next is the camera mount with long legs so I can mount my Lumix FX-07.
Where did you purchase your AeroSpy kit?
Infinity hobby, put a dash between the two and that's the URL name. They also have an interesting looking payload mount kit that gives you two levels up top, but I'm not certain the 330 X would work well top heavy, it's OK with the weight hanging down below though.

The rain let up a bit so I just went out back for a quick test flight, yup, this thing is a rocket vertically now, that's for sure! Seems to be considerably more stable all around with the new ESC's, it think it can react quicker so it doesn't have as much tendency to wobble around in breezy conditions. It's been breezy here for the last week and it's been challenging at times to get a complete battery pack of flight without having to change underwear afterward if you know what I mean

I'm hoping it will be a lot better in the breeze now, at least enough so that any video I do won't look like it was done while drunk...

I have mounted CCPM wireless camera to the frame with a sero to control the tilt on the camera. Tx Futaba 9Caps 2.4, Rx Futaba Fasst 6007 2.4. I have assigned VRC E to tilt the camera. But I noticed whenever I move the VRC the motors surge for a second or two???? Not sure what is causing this. Same thing happens on Channel 6 & 7.
Any suggestions? Thanks in advance. I'm reading this entire thread, and maybe I'll come across this item. Love to hear from you guys.
I am not sure but somehow program mixing is affecting badly.
You'd better check no mixing is set.

What battery connector does the 330X use in its stock form out of the box? And what are most people using?

masao1310 Good thing to check.
Your transmitter should be set to airplane mode and no mixing.
I have added some expo, 30% to aileron and elevator.
I lost one wheel in the grass this morning and made another from some wood.
Put some glue on the small plastic pieces that hold the wheels on the axle and you might get to keep all your wheels............

Mine came with a Chinese version of a Deans connector. I'm using these http://www.traxxas.com/products/acce..._connector.htm for a few reasons, they're a really good connector that's easy to assemble, readily available at just about any hobby shop, and I have close to a dozen lipo packs that already have that connector on them.

Mine came with a connector that doesn't fit any of my batteries so I changed it to Deans as that is what I use for everything.
Next to get the 330X Aero Spy Conversion Kit for my camera.

Anyone know a dealer with stock on the S with the lip and/or shipping deals to Canada? Most seem to have no stock or want a fortune to ship here :/

Figured it out. I decided to see if the MG digital servo I was using was the source of the problem. It was. The 330x does not like them one bit.
Swapped it out with a 9g servo (plastic) and the problem is resolved.

After finding this out I decided to take her out for FPV flight in the yard. Got a bit quizey at first but settled in quickly. Enjoyed two 12 minute flights using 3c 3,000Mah, 30C battery while carrying a 3s 800mah for the FPV power.

Next on the list is too add the Eagle Tree flight navagator system so I can have GPS, altitude and bearing.

This is too much fun!

OK just completed another flight with new 10A ESC's, and wow, they make a huge difference! No rock in descents now. All the small quirks seem to be ironed out.
