John - How do you find it handles in light wind?

From my reading the S version with the larger ESCs jsut give you a bit more headroom so as not to over stress things when the gain kicks in with higher throttle, bit more headroom.

Light wind will slowly drift it away unless you pay attention. Quads with this type of brain have to be piloted.
Some with more sensors will let you hover and they will stay put but they cost much more.
Set it up per the instructions and it will be pretty stable but you still have to be in control.
I have another quad, a 1000mm OMM type.
It uses infrared sensors and looks for the difference in the heat of the sky to the ground.
It is very stable but if the wind picks up it too will drift off.
It doesn't work very well on overcast days or when flying over cement.
That is why I also have this GAUI which you can fly anytime of day over anything.
I think there is a waiting period for the quad no matter which model you order.
Get one and start playing.

I feel the same way, I have many helicopters all electric and have had many crashes over the years, and all or most all have cost quite a bit due to various components being damaged including servos gears and belts, shafts bent in various parts that cannot be repaired only to be replaced at a cost. With the quad you can have the accidents but most often other than the blades you can patch up with glue and carbon fiber parts that you can cut to fit, it's like being back to building planes, and not have to order parts that cost a lot. So have fun set up with something simple like the 330x and you can go from there.

Does that Futaba 2.4 6CH. RTF KIT come as an 'S' as well as a Futaba 6EX as pictured? .. just curious.

I would like to return on the matter self stability and accelerometers.

To make 330x super stable, therefore, that type of device needs to use? That is, if me the imposed one in a certain way, would like that it self-corrected for remaining in that position.

Do you have idea of where a device can be purchased this way? but very a lot of economic and easy to use?

There are no extension boards atm that fit to the GAUI 340. You'll have to wait until September or look for other solutions like mikrokopter, aeroquad/ardupilot etc.

I'd say forget the color blades. People want functionality on a quad more than looks. Have them keep their eye on the prize (GPS & Camera mount options).

I haven't seen any new data from the S model. How much weight can that one carry and how many amps does it pull at hover and full throttle(80%)?
