It is possible it could be even bigger than we expect. It has been advertised in Model Aviation magazine, Park Pilot magazine, AMA Today, and a target e-mail to all members within 300 miles of the AMA.

We also promoted it on the RC Radio Network and Hoot is going on the Bob & Tom show in Indy.

I may be missing something but so far this is all i found about the combat rules.

So is there anything else we should know about this? Is there limitations to building materials or anything?

some sleep in

and some do lunch...

and some will be elsewhere just looking at stuff
(museum and such)

so a proposed time for combat would be appreciated...

That is pretty much it. We are limiting the aircraft by the battery size.

Thanks for the information, I'm really torn on what type of plane to build, only got a few weeks to experiment.

We have about 40 hookups at site 3. We also have some at site 4.

I called AMA today and they said there is no pre-registation for camping over the phone for NEFI, only in person. They are only taking camping pre-registration for IRCHA and XFC events by phone. It is first-come first-served for NEFI. That means that if you are from Kansas that you (theoretically) would have to drive from Kansas to Muncie register for camping then drive back to Kansas from Muncie, pull your rig there and you would be assured a camping spot for the NEFI event. Sorry guys and girls, that is straight from the horses mouth.

Thanks for your post. I just checked on pre-registration for electrical hookups and they are not accepting them as you stated. Sorry I was not aware of that.

However, we have a total of 44 electrical hookups onsite so the chances that anyone will not get one should be slim to none.
