NEFI June 25-27 Muncie, Indiana - Fly with astronaut Hoot Gibson
Meet and fly with AMA Ambassador Robert "Hoot" Gibson (five time Space Shuttle Commander)for three days of electric outdoor fun-flying, warbird pylon racing, combat, demos, an air show and more June 25-27 at the AMA International Aeromodeling Center in Muncie.
It's only $10 for pilots to take advantage of: free camping/hookups, raffles, swap meet, food service and the best airfields.
This is a charity event to benefit the Animal Rescue Fund and the National Model Aviation Museum.
Pre-registered pilots will be entered into a raffle to win a Castle Creations Phoenix Ice ESC.

A Radian electric sailplane contest will be held each day at 1:00 pm.
The RADIAN Rules
1. Airframe. No modifications to Fuselage Wings or Empennage. No aerodynamic smoothing or profiling wing airfoils.
No Film coverings, you do not have to use the vinyl trim that is supplied with the model but the trim you use must not exceed the area of the original decals.
Wings may be painted up to 50% of their surface area, empennage may be painted but the original mold marks must be visible through all paint. Repairs can be made to the airframe so long as there are no significant changes to the original model.
2. Power System. You can only use the motor and propeller that is supplied with the model; damaged components must be replaced with the same part number. ECS may be of the modelers choosing. Battery is limited to 1400mah maximum and 11.1 volts.
3. Radio System. Radios must be of the 2.4 GHz type.
4. The winner of the contest must submit his/her model for inspection if asked for by the contest CD.

How about a PayPal pre-registration, I haven't written a check to anyone in years, not even sure I know where my checkbook might be

Currently the only way to send payment is by mail. Will look into seeing if we can get another option as well.
