Hey how about that? Another "Ed" amongst us!

I think a video of your 9808 would be great! Looking forward to it.

The yellow 9808 that I ordered from Hong Kong through eBay, hasn't come in yet, but I predict it should definitely be here this week. I also ordered a red 9808 from XHeli during the Black Friday promotion, and that should be here any day now too.

"Well blow me down!" as Popeye would say! The thread is about the 9098! But that's OK, I nearly ordered that one too!

Ed,

You are really rubbing it in when you write "Well blow me down!" considering you are out most nights flying 3ch helis in very warm, calm, balmy conditions and there is no wind to "blow you down!"

We are almost knee deep in snow!

Hail stones this afternoon!

Thunder, lightning, snow today most UK East coast airports are closed and can expect a possible -15 deg C tonight .

Perfect flying weather for a 3ch outside dressed in shorts - now should I wear a t-shirt or not?

So sorry to hear about your weather situation. But just look at how even full size aircraft are many a times grounded because of it.

It's been a little too breezy to fly outside, and it's beginning to get a bit chilly but not like where you are.

I hope you still enjoy indoor flight, because I like it a lot as well.

Ed

If it's the black and gold 6010 Phoenix you have purchased, then you will not be disappointed, the 6010 is a great machine, I have two

The 9098 is a great machine as well, I have three of them

I have 4 more days until it is supposed to arrive in the mail. I know these things are dispposable helis but with how much fun everyone says they are I really wish there were more brushless alternatives to these indoor helis.
