Well doesn't look like I'm going to get to maiden the Ta-183 this weekend so I'm going to work on my Micro Ta-183. I need to cut and shape the wings and tail feathers. I got this kit from a guy that scratched built a mold for the micro Ta-183 I think it would be a lot of fun to fly. I'm going to put the same system that is in a E-Flite Mig-15. Here is a link to the build of the mold for the micro Ta-183 some pic's and the scheme I'm going to go with.

To all just a quick update on the maiden of my Huck all this week it has been raining with high wind. This weekend looks better but I decided to postpone the maiden because I got a shipping confirmation that my Eagletree Guardian has shipped and will be here Monday. So I'm going to install the Guardian in the foamy Huck and I won't be doing any modifications to the thrust tube. I think this will be a great test for the Guardian.

You might be able to with the correct shape pack or a saddle pack (2x 2S1P packs connected in series). Remember these were designed for something the size of a 3S 1500 (or the equivalent in NiCads).

But it will be a handful with that weight - will tip the wing loading against your favour. Definitely run a good amount of reflex on the ailerons (1-2mm).

I flew my Alfa MiG15s on a Zippy Compact 3S 2700mAh 25C and Rhino 3S 2350mAh 25C. Both packs are identical save the different capacity and branding , and being only 18-19mm thick easily fitted.

A bit on the heavy side, so be prepared to pick up a dropped wingtip or very fast landings (problem is the Alfa wing section works so well they glide forever).

My setup is the 5-blade alfa edf with an Eflite 4100Kv motor and a 3s 2200 25c pack I get about 300 watts more then enough power for the Huck.
