With this mod, I can use it however I want; it's a piece of shrink tubing with hooked vecro stuck to it. Slip the battery in...it's ready for the Vapor and the other planes. Pull it out and it can go straight into the MCX.

I also have just CAed sections of this stuff onto airframes for instant battery holders...no velcro required..
That's what I do, it works very well

No, I actually don't care much about the lights, but it's just a bonus if they'll work

Cheers!

Thanks, I'm just happy I can get a vapor for $50 plus mark up and tax at the hobby store, oh I guess I'll need at least two batteries too worst case 57 + 8.5 + 8.5 + tax = $83.62 a lot better than $110 plus tax for the bnf.

This would've been done a while ago, but I broke the prop. But I got a new one today, so here's the video. It ROWs quite well, a bit of down elevator helps get it up onto the skids, then a little bit of up elevator and off she goes. This would make for some good on board video or FPV flying.

I wanted to try it at night, but I think I'll wait till I've got a boat, just in case!

I have been using the pz NV for indoors practice flying. It's a good trainer especially for using the throttle to control height. Shot a video of yesterdays living room flights.

I fly with the stock batt and with better velcro.

What can I say, I got lucky

6months ago I couldn't fly the NV inside. Got a HZ Champ, flew 20 or so batts, and now the NV soars around the house.

The Night Vapor is IMHO better outside in calm or dead calm weather

Hey luck is better than skill sometimes, I rely on it heavily

I've been using the 150mah for a while now, no problems so far.

Recently "re-discovered" my NV that I hadn't used in a long time. So much fun flying it late at night out of my driveway! I can get it almost out of sight, but the light configuration makes it easy to get it back. . With winter coming, there will be plenty of calm, cool nights to fly it. I will just use a little larger lipo to negate the cold effect.

I do miss my original vapor that was far superior for flying inside. The NV is a little heavier that effects inside flight characteristics immensely.

I wish Horizon would come out with something similar...
