I had an email from the LHS yesterday for their 4th of July sale.
The email said the Night Vapor had landed. So I hotfooted it over there to get one.
Now its in my hangar. Flew around the living room a little yesterday, no real flying yet though.

With only two flights, the flight times seem to be very short. The lights are a cheap second when compared to the TinyBright lights I installed on my original Vapor. The TinyBright lights are brighter, smaller, and weigh less. What flight times are others getting from this Night Vapor?

Please note that my criticism of the night Vapor comes from my personal viewpoint that I would have done things differently. The Night Vapor lights are almost identical to those found on the MCX2. As the body on the MCX2 hides the square looking circuit board lights, they look better on the heli than on the Vabor in my view.

I took the Night Vapor with me in the Cub to a fly in on Saturday. I spent half of my time letting kids sit in the Cub and the other flying the Night Vapor around young and old in a large hanger. Everyone was impressed with the Vapor and the lights.

As I didnít want to run out of power and hit someone, I frequently changed the batteries. So, I canít give you an update on the flight times.

Love the Vapor but just feel that Horizon could have made a better looking Night Vapor. At least now we do have lights as standard equipment which adds to the air show when flying around people and helps with orientation in low light conditions.

We had a blast flying the night vapor last night between fireworks!! The thing flies so well I was even letting my friends with very little flight time give it a go! Hit a couple of low tree branches and not even a scratch! Great little flyer! I was using a couple of the 1S 150mAh packs and flew for almost 10 minutes! This really is a must have!

I haven't used the stock lipo...using the 1S 120-150mAh and have been flying for over 5 minutes without an issue.

So the original vapor can fly longer than the night vapor? Right?

On a fresh 1S 150 from the new Sukhoi XP the night flight Vapor flew for over 10 minutes! I don't think that the LED are taking much power away...
