For me, at this point, this is a must have. There is simply nothing else out there like this. Size, scale fidelity and the fact it's a foamy. I need to sell some planes to raise funds.

Oh ya and the fact that I'm a Mig 29 nut.

The nose looks alright, but the canopy is definitely way wrong.

What kind of reputation Lanxiang has in the market? What can we expect from it? Do you have to change servos, landing gears, edf, motors, esc to get it work properly?

well I can tell you by my personal experienec.. I got the F-22 the smaller one with retracts. that plane has been abused over and over again.. I got elevon mixing wtih 1 servo controlling 2 surfaces.. I landed in fields at the beginning (it was my 1st plane and I was copmletely inexperienced) with the gear down..

Still no servos stripped everything working fine. ofcouerse I changed the ESC to something bigger so as the motor but I used those on other experimental planes. never had a prob.

btw it's the only brand that uses external bec -switch on it's ESCs

At the moment it doesn't ship anyway... and at r2f they just quietly pushed the projected shipment date from June to July :-(.

This model looks fantastic except for the cartoon canopy. This is not going to be a cheap/inexpensive model so please fix the canopy before release. Am I alone here in detesting the fact that you have to "fix" a model after buying it?

No, you probably have 100.000 pilots as company, at least me. But I have to admit that some of the stuff that Lanxiang puts out is so damn innovative that it is just to tempting to tinker with it. It is bleeding edge, yes, that means some blood - yours & mine - will be required . But at the same time the stuff is really cheap. So I understand that the deal is bleeding edge, relatively little money, but fixing required.

PS: If I want something that is boring and works, I buy an old model from last year's Graupner catalogue .
