Wow want this plane but 100$ for foam is killing it for me.
Then almost 50$ to ship to the US.

$100 gets you ready to fly or reciver ready foam planes these days.

Anyone know of a cheeper soultion for a platform of this size on the US side?

Thats a more acceptable price to me. Not 100%, but better. I wonder if it IS the EPO one. Is EPO comparable to the Easystar foam?

Strange. They mailed me to confirm they had it, and that it is the EPO version... Hooks, what ties do you have to this plane, by the way? I see it was questioned Here.

@Cralis

I hope you will receive your Skywalker EPO, but they just told me that they didn't send any shipment to HK lowpricerc..
Maybe you are right and they really sell the plane for 99 $ only time will show. It's just funny the manufacture of the plane tells me other news.

Lets see what happens.

Can you tell us a little bit more about the manufacturer? Who is it exactly?

Cheers !

I had a great idea this morning. How about make the skywalker out of marshmellow!? At least then we can eat it when it falls apart. And hey it might actually be a little stronger.....

Yes, I am pi$$ed. I have had my plane for a week. So far I took it out the box, put it back in and put it in the shed.

Oh wilsonj, that's poor, man! Sorry about that.... I assume it's not the EPO version? There seems to eb ideas on strengthening them... Maybe as simple as straying something on them that coats into a hard shell?

Sorry man, you must be upset.

Cralis, I wouldn't be so annoyed if it wasn't so expensive!
Adding glass etc will add considerable weight to the plane. But probably my only option at this point.

I damaged the foam when I peeled off the tape that held the clear canopy on!!! REALLY what were they thinking when they chose this material.

It's as if they sold a whole lot of mold tests, maybe, using the cheapest possible foam? I was eyeing one out at $99, but they raised the price to $134 or something... But even at $99, I'd freak if it was normal packing foam... I assume EPO would make it a better plane... But still not sure - haven't heard anyone get one, and comment.

EPO would make it a great plane in my opinion. There really isn't much wrong with the design. Lots of interior space. Its generally well thought out, which makes this a real tragedy. It was so close.

Actually thinking about it maybe the producer wanted to recoup some money quick so chose Styrofoam (cheaper), with the intention of using something better later.......Who knows.

I can say the molding is very clean.
