UndCon, what would a fancy Vtx antenna help if you're flying regular spektrum 2.4ghz range +/- 1km?

It helps alot actually. The cloverleaf is circular polarized which cuts down on multipathing big time, and doesnt care how the planes attitude is. So, within that 1km range of your 2.4g rc signal, you can expect a very clear and useable video signal, regardless of proximity to cars, buildings, or other objects that cause a linear polarized antenna to reduce signal quality.

Ian, see below. Picture one is without the ring, so you can see my horrible attempt at drilling. There's some play for the shaft in the one direction. The second picture has just the ring added. The nut / spinner goes on the opposite side, so, as I have it, the more the nut is tightened, the more "straight" the shaft is pulled in proportion to the prop.

Pic 3 has the other bits, where you can see the spinner forces the ring-side (right hand side) flat against the washer.

Your prop was designed to handle different shaft sizes. That is why the hole itself is over-sized and why it was supplied with a variety of insert washers. If you like, you can change to a collet that will fit your prop exactly. This should not be necessary however. The supplied washers should give you the proper fit.

I am planning to buy v5 SW and I was looking for a viable motor. Would this be a good match for it?

And also this propeller is in my mind but not sure. Any suggestions?

I'm closing up my Skywalker, any last suggestions?

I've done:

1. Embedded a straw to accommodate later cabling from canopy to shelf
2. Opened a channel to accommodate the esc wires coming down to the battery
3. Opened a channel to accommodate GPS placement etc.

Any other suggestions?

If you are planning to run on a 2S pack it seems by the specs that the chosen motor and prop would work.
On 3S you may have to prop down to a 9x4E or even 8x6E.
Only real world experimenting will tell.
I am surprised at how lightweight the motor is. For a 3536 weight is usually around 120g.
Looks like this motor would be able to handle a 9" prop on 3S and even on 4S.
Someone is selling this combo which would be a prime option for 4S. Ask heinduplessis .

That does not completely solve the problem if the hole is imprecise. Take a closer look at the geometry and tracking issues. Also you can balance blade to blade, but if the hole is off 90 degrees to the blades, it is very difficult to get enough weight on the hub to counteract both blades' slight offset in the same direction.

Care and precision is always best when dealing with a mass rotating at many thousands of rpm's. It's always best to do it right.
