Hi Cralis.

You can watch sample video from this link: http://v.youku.com/v_show/id_XMTQ2NjA0NTk2.html

All spare parts available. EPO version Skywalker stronger and elastic than EPS version.

We are waiting Fergus video too.

Best regards.
Adnan.

Is that the 'stronger' one?

Well I got my skywalker, and its EPS. Its so fragile I can't believe it! It feels more fragile than ordinary white packing foam.

Its going to require a serious amount of glass before this will be usable. What a pity.

Here is a good explanation on the foam types, if people are interested.

I was keen on a Twinstar... but this looks more like what I am looking for. And the fact that I can't find a Twinstar anywhere, is benefiting the Skywalker quite a bit. But, what is making me rethink the Skywalker, is this:

Everyone, except the seller, has remarked on how bad the foam is.
The maker seems to be a new kid on the block? How long can we be sure we'll have spares?
No one on these forums has flown one yet? Infact, no one has completed one yet?
The glue supplied can't be used. That's worrying.
No manual/user guide. I'm not great at flying, but how on earth will we find the CoG without smashing it?
In the video I have seen, those wings look very thin.

These are a few things worrying me. I still like the look of it, and the internal size, which is why I am still a bit interested, but ... these issues need to be addressed. Looks like wilsonj may have been burnt, because with low grade foam... can't see it lasting many flights with my skills, and I have no idea how to 'glass' stuff.

We are use 2835-08 FSD brushless motor with this airplane. 3-4S LiPo can use. As prop 9060 APC as well. You can 30-40A ESC with this motor. Maximum current is 25A
I suggest 4S 3000-4500mAh LiPo batteries for this airplane.

2835-08 brushless motor link from USA is: http://cgi.ebay.com/MP2835-08-1038kv...8105QQihZ001QQ
I need to know what's the max prop fitts this plane?

Hi SPL

Maximum prop size 9 inches fitts this airplane as normally.

Best regards
Adnan.

My build is on hold as I'm waiting on servos. The airspace over Ireland is still closed due to volcanic ash so I could be waiting a few weeks.

Adnan could you please try and establish the recommended CG for the Skywalker. It would make life alot easier when it comes to flying this plane.

Regards

Fergus
