Can someone recommend a good solid panning FPV cam servo? Preferably Hitec, but I'm not wetted to the brand, metal gear and as close to 180 degree panning or better if possible.

Thanks much!

What's wrong with the GWS sail-winch servo? It's really heavy for a servo, but I've never heard any complaints about it failing to do what it needs to do.

I also use the GWS sail-winch servo on my Skywalker, recently hit a tree doing 88km/h and still works like a new.

On which plane you want to have pan?

All of the equimpment for the plane is suggested by bevrc and sold by them except the battery. Also, what prop should I use. Will I need a prop adapter? Thanks! Cant wait to get this thing and fly!!!!

I heard you the first time That all looks pretty good, and I've seen many people being successful with the combo you suggested. Some people prefer to use higher kv motors (in the 1200 range) if running a 3 cells, but like I said, people have been successful with the 900-ish flavor. You will probably want to go with the heavier battery upfront in order to get it to balance out; or you could wire up 2 of the smaller ones in parallel.

Is the 4500 enough or do I need more?

My Skywalker balances with a single 4000mAh 3S battery, and it's about 50mm
back from the nose.

So a 4500 should be just right then if placed in the front of the nose. Will a 4500 and a 1000 stacked on top of each other fight up front?

Mine is about the same but I use 5000 mah 4s, I also have steering nose geat but no GoPro camera gear. The mains are just behind the Cg which is 25mm behind the servo wires. J

I still need to try mine on a 3S, I see a lot of people opting for a 3S over a 4S. On 4S this thing is ballistic, cruising on quarter throttle and I can never go above 75% throttle... too much power but I get unlimited vertical.

Most people on here use a 9x6 E-prop, but it all depends on your power setup and battery selection. I use a 9x4.5 as I have a higher KV motor (1220KV) and a 4S battery. What motor and battery are you planning to use?
