The thread http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1431921 has
been on and off the first page of the FPV forum for weeks. Don't know when
we'll meet next time, but most folks are interested. Probably late summer/fall.

skysurfer which didn't surf above the clouds

When the clouds were low, I went out...but sadly, due to not enough thrust, I couldn't take [walking on the clouds]...so with some other footage, I edited to convey some grotesque mood.

Interesting editing, but this is in the Skywalker thread because?

BAck to the SW.

I am building another SW to replace the one that broke up in flight.

I have just added some glass to the wing. Top and bottom. I hope this and the carbon make a diff. The glass only add 160grams.

I will glass the tail as well.

I was surprised by how efficiently it glided and was impressed by its handling, it flew much much better than the hobbyking epp fpv plane.

Landing kind of scraped up the nose though so im going to layer it with clear tape to avoid scratching in the future.

Glad to hear it went well!

I had the same issue with scraping the nose,
So I took a 2 liter plastic bottle and cut out a bit
of it to tape to the nose/belly. Now when I land on gravel or pavement it just slides along. Reminds me, I need to get protection on the wing tips and the tail too...

Prop Balancers

What prop balancer are you using and why do you like it?

...I want to see you who are a quite narrow-minded person who thinks only un-edited fpv footate should be posted in the skywalker thread.

안녕 Mr. Kim,

I think the point being made is that this thread is for Skywalker FPV model and not FPV generally. If your video has relevance like an explanation on video range or performace comparisons, it would fit better.

감사합니다

BEVRC have the SW belly protectors back in stock.
They are fiberglass, a good fit and not heavy, with doublesided tape pre-installed and only $20.
No I dont get commissions, they just work really well.

According to their website, at this very moment they are out of stock. Sounds like a great addition to the plane. I'm curious what international shipping would cost, though. $20 shipping on a $20 part would suck.
