Hi again
I've been looking around trying to find a motor that runs on Turnigy Nano-Tech 4S 5000Mah 25-50C but have no luck at HK, so i now thinking of going down to Turnigy Nano-Tech 3S 25-50C 50000Mah instead and use the motor you recommend. If i can get around 30 minutes per battery of flight i think thats more than enough for me.
I've tried to use calculators on different websites to calculate the difference between them, but i'm not shure if i understand them.

I'm not very technical when it comes to this kind of electronics, but i'll be there one day.

Interestingly (maybe?), I was using a Turnigy 3S 25-30C 5000mAh pack and had my timers at the end of the testing flights say:

Flight time: 21:50 (This is time with the throttle safety switch off)
Motor Time: 13:12 (This is non-idle time)

Pack read 38% on the LiPo tester and took 3500mAh to charge.

Bear in mind the "Flight time:" timer includes ground time when I forgot to switch the safety switch on.

This was line of sight, so lots of fast low passes and climb outs.

That seem to be more like what i have in mind regarding flighttime, i will buy two batteries and since i'm kind of new to FPV i'm not going to do the big stunts in a while, but low passes is interesting. What do you mean by "throttle safety switch off"?

Had the SW at the club field this morning. I think every member in attendance got a "ride" along through the Headplays. Universally cool experience.

Most commonly asked question: "So how much did all this cost?"

I was going by the number of carbon rods provided, but you're right I was guessing, which is why I said "looks".

V3 has two more carbon rods pre-installed inside the wing. The ones in the picture
are for joiners and fuse longeron.

I don't know of anyone selling skywalker motor mounts, but it's pretty easy to make if you have a scroll saw or band saw and some plywood. Place the blind tee nuts--then just glue it to the suppplied mount and glue it to the plane.
I understand now. Thanks!!!

Quick question.
I just got the new 5000 Mah batteries from HK and the wires are just horrendously thick.
What kind of plugs I could use?

I use EC5 plugs on packs with 10AWG or larger leads.

Folks here seems to have Scorpion motors.

The reason I am changing motors is that the BEVRC-motor has a vibration in it . It is pretty strong motor, but a no do with FY20A.
I want a better quality motor.

Ordered Scorpion S2-3014-1040 motor and a APC 10x5E propeller (will raise my motor mount some). That should give the plane good and smooth power.

when you make that motor mount, post pics....

I have that same motor (3014-1040kv Scoprion) but I use
a 9x6 APCe prop..... that 10x5 prop will be nicer :-)

I'm using 4s 5000mah Lipo

http://innov8tivedesigns.com/Scorpio...40%20Specs.htm

it will go just a bit faster
