I think the fuse can be put back straight like deamon said. I did it with mine after a crash and if you take your time it is pretty amazing what you can do with this foam. It is really bad you received it like that, but personnally I would have more patience for trying to repair it than to wait for replacement

I just go for a new one
I bought a new one not a smashed
I am from the netherlands but this happened somewhere else because otherwise
Our postal service put a sticker on it about the damage
It laid in the rain in china I think like yours too
The shop should have it wrapped in plastic
Still no answer today if they not respond I escalate it with paypal and will get my money back
Maybe than I start thinking about repair but I dont beleive its repairable without you still will see the bends

Incredibly perfect!

Unfortunatelly, another order I had the wings smashed. But hot water fix everything like a charm. With a Bixler crashed, I did recover it 100%... really works!

If it's just bends then it is totally repairable. As I said above, hot water is all you need.

Even if it's cracked through you can fill breaks with glue on a toothpick or cotton swab after straightening with hot water.

I would be peed off, if I spent nearly $200 on a new plane and it came folded in half. Luckily all my planes have arrived without a scratch.

Imagine ordering a new car and it comes all dented and dirty.

Pissed off or not, it's clearly the fault of the shippers. Can complain about it and
demand satisfaction from the vendor (who wasn't responsible for the damage), then
wait weeks to get refund/replacement or just straighten it out and get on with building
and flying the plane.

If these weren't coming from China where shipping is sketchy at best I'd agree with you, but you take what you can get from there. And where did you get $200 from (not trying to be an ass) is shipping really that expensive on these? I always see the airframe for ~ $80?

I didn't know the 168cm version was so cheap $83. When I purchased the 190cm version from memory I spent $200 including motor, some servos etc to get the free shipping from BEVRC.

Off course the vendor can do something about the wet box
Wrap it in plastic
And vendor can claim the damage with shipper since its insured
I will not repair a plane before its maidenflight
No problem with waiting a few weeks and start happy building instead of repairing
Have much more to fly

Hobbyic.com has still not answered my emails or paypal dispute
Not happy with that too

I have a v4 I think, built it a year ago. I was wondering what the black tubes in the vertical stabilizer and through the fuselage are made off. I would have thought they were carbon fiber but not so sure they aren't fiberglass. Any one know for sure?
