Aerodynamically it's better to stick things out the bottom of an airfoil, not the top.
On the bottom it's just platform drag. On top, it also kills lift.

Hi,
I have just finished my new FPV+LRS board for my SkyWalker.
Just a few plugs and ready.
I can remove and use it on different planes.

Nice clean board. Like the idea. It does make the components close to each other, would like to know about the performance once you test it.

I have the same concerns as CG, how are things affected by being close together.

This is just speculation but the Eagle Tree stuff shouldn't be too bad. The link between then is normally about 6" anyway.

The GPS module module isn't pictured here so presumably it's back on the tail or boom or someplace removed.

It looks like the VTx is here so that (in my mind) is the question mark.

Hi,
And this is the "cockpit" side, only 2 pairs of wires.
All the sensors, GPS outside, Altimeter, Airspeed and Guardian inside.
Regards
Eric

Oh that sux!
Hope you're able to get a speedy replacement. When mine arrived slightly crushed (nowhere near the damage yours took!) it took me almost 3 months to sort out.

Never seen that before. Looks like it went sideways through a conveyor, while soaking wet.
Should be no problem straightening out the fuse/wings with a little hot water.
Pour 82 degree C water through a wash cloth folded over a couple times and laid
over the bent areas to heat them up, then just straighten em out.
