You're limited by the length of your wires really, it's not pretty but it should stay cool .
I used Velcro.

Cheers, kev.

Good question Kev.............. Just checked it, AUW with the cased GoPro and 4400mAh on-board is 1.85Kg. Really thinking long and hard about what Crist did with his wing, maybe in a few months.

I may as well put my latest here too.

So, do you mean that the wing survived the crash intact despite the fact that the spars were NOT glued in the panels? Were the wing halves separable?

Did he have any tape?

For those that have done the 4" nose extension- I'm wondering if 4" is an overkill. Would 2 or 3" be enough? I want to use (1) 3S A123 26650 battery pack.
Thanks

If we had to avoid everything toxic or potentially dangerous, we wouldn't be able to enjoy this hobby with all it's glues, fumes, fuels, spinning props, exploding Lipos, etc... LoL

As my SW nears completion, I've been doing some CG tests. I have 2 3S2200's in parallel. It looks like I can get by with a 2" extension, maybe 2.5" at the most.

I agree the full 4" seems like a bit much, but in some cases it may be necessary.

Crist said he cuts foam for wings anyway bumba - that's many meters in total - those small plugs is the last he should worry about.

A well ventilated working area helps a lot too.
