I'm having an issue with my MCX2 where during forward flight it wants to move left and dive and in reverse flight it moves to the right. I have it trimmed to hover pretty well so that doesn't seem to be the problem. Should the two arms on the swash plate move evenly when the right stick is pushed forward? In my case the right arm moves down and the left doesn't move at all.

If you only push forward, then ONLY the ELE servo should move - so everything is ok ...

make sure you dont have the front canopy pushed to far in. It can get under the arms and can cause it to do what you are experiencing.

Also watch the wiring for the nav lights......they can get in the way of the servos. Also, make sure the battrey isn't touching the gears on the servo.

Both seem to move freely with the other directional controls.

Is the left bias normal behavior with the MCX2? I found it mentioned in some older threads but nothing recent. No one seemed to have a solution then either. I just purchased the heli today so I'm wondering if it's a defect or characteristic of the mcx2.

Is it sliding to the left as its going forward or does it seem the nose is actually going into a left turn? When you say you have it trimmed pretty well for hovering, is there still movement and if there is, is it slowly sliding left?

The nose maintains it's heading (with a slight down attitude) but the line of flight is 30 degrees or so left of straight.

The hover moves around a bit but not consistently left, or any other direction for that matter.

When you go into forward flight, the nose will dip a bit, That is normal.You have to compensate with a little extra power to keep it at attitude. There shouldn't be anything that is forcing it left that I can think of. Honestly the only thing I can think of is that as you are giving it input to move forward that you are accidentally giving a little bit of left at the same time.

It's quite normal for coax's to have a little left drift while going FFF. You have to compensate by giving it a little right AIL. My MCX and Lama V4 do the same thing.
