Hobby King

Placed an order 8 days ago with HK, for items that were in stock.

They still hadn't shipped after 8 days, so I filed a complaint with paypal. Now, HK says they will not ship my item at all. The order shows as cancelled, and they will not refund my money!?!?!?!

Yeah sometimes I have noticed they take 10-12 days to ship. Course now you may have to wait 30 days for a refund.

All you had to do was shoot them an email and they'd respond in a day or two canceling your order. I've done it a few times when they took too long to ship.

They just moved, so took out 4 days out of shipping schedule.

Usually HK sends out orders very quickly, I have placed orders and received them in 5 days.
I think that is super good!
Must have been a good reason they didn't ship, maybe out of stock?

Next time just shoot them an e-mail I think they are great to deal with, no problems here.

They said they had it in stock.
When I ordered it, they said they would have it shipped in 48 hours.
I emailed them after 7 days, and the said it could take up to 3 weeks just to get the order packed, not including shipping time!

Manitobans, especially Winterpeggers need to be patient. (joke)

Patience is required when dealing with them whether moving or not. Usually worth the wait. And yes if you had asked to cancel the order they would have but in my experience it would have taken about a week just to get that acknowledgement.

A message from Jason at HK.

Hi guys.
We're picking and packing items now and Ricky is back on Live-Chat.
Email queue is almost down to around 800 emails but the live chat is still flooded.
Almost all enquiries are regarding the order delay which is attributed to the warehouse move.

Moving warehouse was a mammoth task which took as 5 days in total and over 70 staff to get it done.
We have almost solved all product location issues and the computer systems are up and running.

Thanks to everyone who patiently waited while we made the move. We will reward your patience with increased product variety, stock levels and faster dispatch times!

Jason

Yea, I paid for the express shipping 6 days ago to get it here asap and it was just shipped today. If I had known I would have ordered from stateside with the extra shipping price. T

Are they still backed up from the move? I ordered on 4/8 and it's still showing as "processing." Usually when I pay for EMS it goes to shipping status within 3-4 days, but never this long.

Guys, give HK a chance to make things good.

It's no easy task to move a warehouse and get the shipping & receiving systems set up, plus all the computers systems, and all the other equipment necessary.

I'm surprized it didn't take them longer, I'm sure they will be processing those orders as soon as possible.

I have an order I placed 2 weeks ago and shipped about a week ago. It should leave Hong Kong today.

Three weeks ago I placed a diffrent order for a motor, ESC and a Rhino battery. The motor and battery are well in stock but the ESC, when I order displayed 19 left but I guess they didn't get in my box in time because it is still processing. Oh well, the ESC should come in stock again soon.

Main reason I do is once it has gone to a status of Shipping, its less than a week to my door, otherwise it is several weeks. No control over how fast they pack a box....

I agree, I will continue to be a HK customer even if I have to wait longer to get affordable batteries!
