Glad to help out -- nice to think that there might be a few 21st century versions of the 'space patrol craft' gracing the skies again! I'll try and get round to scanning the other ones over this weekend.

Here's a pic I found a 'Terradelta' built recently by a Ray Malmström fan - shows that people are still building models from the spacecraft book ...

cheers.

I remember building a Leo Valentin when I was grass high to a kneehopper! Put my Jetex 50 on it, sure did some interesting gyrations from what I can recall.

Aquaskipper - boat

This is from the Eagle Book Of Model Boats, I built this as a teenager powered with a Cox babyBee - was fast!, at full tilt it rode on the step and balanced by the winglets. It used to do a torque turn of about 80deg about 6ft after release then go dead straight.

Nice plans coming in ... !
I've scanned in the rest of the spacecraft models but have run out of space on my web server (needs more than 100Mb) !!
I'll try and host on my NAS and update with new links in a while ...
cheers.

Came across this little book which I have had since the early 60s. Published by Arco for 5 shillings it contains two plans - DualAir (free flight rubber or glider) and TrainAir (control line)

Another one, with genuine JATO whats more! Although I somehow doubt how effective they would have been.
