It is a highly modified Logitech Joy Stick that I received from a guy in Tiawan in order to do flight testing with. They may put these into production and need input from the field, it a dirty thankless job but someone has to do.

The 1st FPV test flight should be interesting, I am writing up a Pre Flight Check List, at this rate it will be a few pages short of the Bible.

Is that the Aeorc model? I tried their first head tracker and found the build quality to be the worst imaginable. It was held together with hot glue and not much else. Their second offering burned out a few peoples radios.

I am hoping it is another company or they got their act together...it's a product I want.

The Joy Stick is a Proto type, I going to give it hell in the field and see who's left standing.
IBCrazy, my wife thinks I should ask you for your name.
I am going to make a complete test flight video of how this thing works with FPV, I really can't wait.

The joystick thing is cool, wouild be nice to get the throttle like you said on the pod
and then put the tx out up high on a pole for great reception

the patch on your head and sitting on a comfy swivel chair to sit down in would be realy cool

then the control stick would be between your legs like a real pilot.

you will be aware of your suroundings and can swivel around to track the plane with your video.

How the do you trim your plane with that joystick?

I have a million ideas of how I am going to make different stands you this Joy Stick I have only begun.
The Joy Stick simply acts as the gimbals, the computer radio does all the rest.

LOL, I am making a table that will mount where the JS stand is now but it will be a lot longer so that my 9c, the Joy Stick and the throttle handle will sit on it. I am going to mount the patch antenna off of the front of it so it is look forward and be close to the ground. This table will connect to PVC arms that will be on both sides of me so it will be very stable. I will get to work on it tomorrow.

do you have to use PC to trim the joystick ?
I've modified the same one , it can be trimmed but not during flight.
The joystick weight 2lb ......as much as 15 Nunchucks
there are only 4 pots, throttle has no spring option and rudder (twist) is slow compared to regular stick
