If the rain and wind will ever stop The good thing about living next to a park is if there is a 30 -45 minutes calm time in the evening I can usually catch it and get in a flight or two. Batteries are charged so I will be waiting. I will have video as well. I am curious to see how speedy this one will be.

I will say the model scoots quite nicely but the F18 is definitely not the fastest airframe the F16 is. The F16 on ~52k rpm is dopplering about 85 mph, the F18 on ~57k rpm is dopplering about 85 as well. So that extra 5k rpm is getting lost in either airplane drag or the bifurcated outlets. One thing is the new "Wicked Wemo Extreme" motor really should use a lipo bigger than a 3S1300. I was through the pack in about 3 minutes. A 3S1800 may be just right size for this higher KV motor. I think I am going to install the Extremo into the F16 and see what I get, I should be able to break 90 mph with the extra 5k rpm.

As far as flight the model flew right out of my hand. The model was setup using tailerons and they worked perfect. The F18 has always slowed down well for landing and this one is no exception. CG was right per manual and may have been a little forward of the manual.
