Six weeks waiting to get a Bandit and...

...when it finally arrives it is the WRONG version! It is the GLIDER version. I tried to get in contact with my SHS (Swedish Hobby Suplier) today but no luck. Grrrrr!

No, I think he meant the old slope soaring version of the FVK Bandit - the "Bandit 1". Apparently some vendors still have them in stock. The Bandit you and I are familiar with is the "Bandit 2". Remember back when you started that "FVK Bandit EXPOSED!!!!" thread? The first person to respond to it was Sal, and he mentioned the old version in that post. Click here to read it again.

Exactly! I has a glider nose and the elevator servo is not mounted in the fin.

My supplier was out of stock on the Bandit (thatīs why it took six weeks to get it) he ordered it from FVK after I had ordered it from him, the box was filled with crumpled german newspapers so I guess that my supplier did not even unpack the box, just put a new label on it and sent it to me. I donīt know if it is my supplier that ordered the wrong version or if it is FVK who made the misstake.

However, I think that I am looking at another 6 weeks waiting.

My supplier called tonight. He was sorry about the misstake and he will correct it as soon as possible. He has the E-Bandit in stock so the thing will be cleared at the end of the week. Aaaaah!

If you have a Bandit 1 it has a one piece wing and would not have come from FvK. The #2 is a completely new machine. If you have a Mk.1 you are a lucky man, they are quite a bit faster and personally I know which I prefer........ slope or electric

According to tic & Co you are going to need two anyway so hold on to the antique
