Why can't they get the Dihedral right on these models. The 51 looks good the 47 is close,
but not enough, the 109... well that one is just plain ugly to start with, this one would be
right if it were a Hurricane. Oh well what do you expect for a buck fifty.

Its not bad looking. The Durafly SPit has no dihedral either. It flies ok, but is somewhat squirly.

I feel the same about the Durafly, Though overall this one looks better.

I like to do low flybys with my PZ109, It just looks right well doing them.
This plane won't. I'll probably get the Jug. that one is close and won't take
much of a mod to get right.

This one looks like it's worth "bashing". the 109 is a waste.

Can't wait to see if Nitro brings it in.

The profile looks right but does the wing look slightly elongated?

The Mk9 had the same wing shape as the Mk1, just different armorment. It also shared the same "smallish" horizontal tail, though with a different elevator horn balance shape.

If FMS increased the HT size for better handling, then that is probably what makes the wing look a little weird, though I would say the the wing alone does look very close.

FMS did a pretty good job with the mustang wing, matching the tip and root chords to the quoted span.

PS, the PRU blue spitty in the picture above is a Griffon engine MK 14 or later. Much different cowl.

psps

FMS shortend the Stang fuselage 1" from scale, probably to make it fit the box. They might have done the same with the spitty.

I know, it's my favorite late war Spit. Long, lean and mean.
