Not taking any side and never did but if hes gone why keep commenting and post about him. This thread should be close and further posting should be done privatly between the parties involve.

Yes, it can be done. Though I would not recommend it. I have a vague knowledge of it. You are still better off buying new. Since the process requires a great amount of heat and electric fields I don't think I could guarantee that you would not damage the armature in the process.
