You could still fly there but it's getting iffy. They are building houses down that road now. No one lives in them yet so I don't think anyone will run you off or anything but the remaining flying days out there are surely numbered.

I went by Area 51 this morning and have good news and bad news; they have taken out the hilly area across the street from the parking so the flying is a lot better. Bad news is that area is now graded down for building pads for new houses. It looks like they skipped over the middle part of the development and started back here.

Skyjet has informed me that the RCWingers in Mooresville will be having a night fly-in on June 9 starting at 6pm. I'll give more details when I get them. Get your night flyers ready!

Yea - I was surprised that they did it that way. It was a good site while it lasted.

I've been flying over at Springfield (where I first met you) with a few guys every Saturday morning at 8am. You guys are more than welcome to come join us. Not sure if we'll get kicked out of there eventually but it's a good spot for now. I imagine the larger the crowd gets the more likely it is that we'll be booted but we'll keep going until someone tells us to move.

I was at area 51 on sunday, its still a good spot for now and there is another field just down that dirt road. pretty quiet out there.

Trying to get a hold of Joe. Anybody?

That's pretty sweet. What happened? Did the esc get wet? It didn't look like it got dunked that bad.
