Hi. I'm just finishing the planking on a maximus Mk2. My first build and so far looking ok. No looking forward to all the sanding next though.

I am scratch building but have not been in the shop for some time. Oct actually. Life just got in the way. I am almost finished with the things that got in the way and will be back to building soon.
Building log. "Alma" 1891 Scow Schooner Sail fabric was ordered and has arrived. Radio gear is here. I just have to get back to fabricating lots of little parts. I believe I have all the materials in hand to finish Alma. Just need to make time to do it. |

I don't know if you would consider it scratch building, but I am working on a plug (pulled from a friends mold) so I can make a mold of a Widget. Another friend is working on a Reggae by Brad Gibson. I'm hoping we will be able to swap hulls once the molds are done.

The reggae is plans that you have to buy mate but the MK2 is pretty much the same as the reggae anyway but if you would like to have a lok at the website, type into google reggae IOM. I have bought the plans of the reggae and there is a very similar design within the two boats (MK2 and reggae)

buying plans isnt a worry, the photos look great, anyone any experience with either predator or vanquish.
