1981 Shovelhead

No longer stock
Bored/stroked to 96" Baisley Drag racing prepared STD dual plug heads
Baker 6sp overdrive transmission

Rode it to Cape Blanco a while back and flew my Kestrel
My wife Sally rode her own bike along with.

Sweet ride! I love the 40s Fords & Mercs. When I was 11, I learned to drive in a '48 Merc 5-window coupe w/flathead V8. Was my sister's high-school car back in the early 60s. It's a good thing cars can't talk.....

Looks a lot like a '39, due to being Standard not Deluxe, but it's a real steel '40.

The '39 headlights were a little different.

What I pilot when I'm not flying multirotors, GPS, cruise control, anti-lock brakes, satellite radio, plus the all important Valentine 1...



At the flying field with the RT...

The more expensive part of the two wheel hobby, my award winning 1957 Norton ES2...



What it looked like the day I brought it home...



That gold S10 in the background was what I brought the ES2 home in, a nice little sleeper with LT1 small block Chevy power, sadly now long gone...

Another of my Nortons, I currently have 3 keeping my RT company in the garage along with the wife's R65 BMW...
