Daniel,

I like the 'distance to waypoint' idea...I'll certainly give it a try. An arrow pointing direction to the next waypoint is not a biggie for me...not sure of the full usefulness of this.

For the pan indicator in CM3, I'd prefer it just above the arrow...same general areas as it is in CM1 and CM2. If resources is a concern, I'd certainly prefer the pan indicator over the tilt indicator.

The mAh/km display, as it is, actually runs into my Vext display a little with NTSC. It could probably be space either above the Vext indicator or a few more character spaces to the right of where it is now. I'm with you though, I don't know if I'll ever really use it. It just pops up when I press my Sw button to (try and) turn off the WARNING indicator. Speaking of which, with fw 16.8, it seems I wasn't able to turn off the WARNING indicator by the Sw button...same for popping into the Menu mode real quick. It seemed like the WARNING stayed on until the reason for the WARNING was cleared, i.e. distance and/or voltage setting. I really need to play with it some more to verify before you worry about it though.

And on behalf of all us Dragon users...THANK YOU VERY MUCH FOR ALL YOUR SUPPORT. I don't think anyone else can say their system is as well supported as what you have done for us with the Dragon products.

I love real beer. The beer in Germany is better though. Nothing like a proper English Pub though.

repost...
I wouldn't think so. I'd recommend the servo wires and camera wires be twisted separately both into and out of the connector, i.e. don't twist the servo and camera wires together in the same bundle.

Vantasstic,

If the reason for the WARNING is low RSSI, you will not be able to dismiss it like you can with other alerts. The reason is because RSSI goes up and down and you don't want to kill that warning forever. If you are unable to dismiss warnings arising from voltage, for example, please let me know.

I will put the pan indicator above compass 3 for now. Will have to see how to move the assist text so it doesn't bump into stuff. Personally I find it not that useful.

Guys,

I've put up version 17.0-beta for testing. I'm not pushing this through the automatic update system because it's still beta so you will have to download it and point PCC to the unzipped image. I only put up code for version 2.

You can get the file and read about the changes here. Please let me know if you find any errors or discrepancies.

Question. . why do people NEED a pan indicator?

Seems to me, if the camera is not pointed straight ahead, you kind of know that you are panning .. .

KrisW,

Actually you cannot always tell if the angle off is small. In any case, it seems that the feature is used to indicate other things as well - such as using it as an aileron or rudder input indicator.
