Cralis,

Not at the moment. The problem is we just don't have the funds to put into stocking up on GPS modules and current sensors. However, I think if you make a special request to John, he should be able to help you out with this. I just don't think we can offer this on a large scale.

Dialfonzo,

Another thing you can try, instead of the above modifcation, try inserting a single 75ohm resistor in the camera video line to the OSD (in series). You may, or may not need the capacitor but if this works, you won't need the 220ohm resistor.

DOSD+ flight

Not much to see really, just flew arounf home. Plane is too heavy now with camera and about a kilometer of wiring that I haven't sorted yet. Shows AHI working but not much else. Tomorrow I will put gear into a glider that will fly smoother. End of video is picture of the plane, it's what I use to crash test

Dosd+ firmware 1.6e extra 300 800mm wingspan foamy (5 min 5 sec)

Hi Daniel, 6.1f looks good, not have time to upload vid now, autopilot and IMU be all working sweet soon with the speed you bring out the changes.

Thanks

Dialfonzo,

No, you cannot change the font size. You can however select a display screen with smaller fonts. Try setting OSD mode to 2 and you should see smaller fonts if that's what you're after.

The peak values will only show up if your speed indicates that you have stopped flying, usually. Sometimes it can show up if you are flying into the wind such that the ground speed is zero. GPS fluctuations while stationary can also cause the display to pop on/off depending on how stable your GPS position fix is.

mark,

WOW!!! 1.6e did real well. I think you will like 1.6f more though. For sustained turns, I would expect 1.6f to perform much better but it's a lot of tweaking.

JR PCM RS10DS Receiver

Daniel,

I have found the PCM RS10DS RSSI signal and now DOSD+ can show the RSSI value.

excellent results for this imu video

you should try rolls and loopings, there seemed to be something wrong about it on jettiplot's video (imu not going back exactly on the horizon)

JettPilot was using an earlier version of the IMU code. Mark is using a newer one with improvements. 1.6f should be even further improved.

no worries, given the results i have no doubt you will have it perfect overtime, still would be good to roll it around a bit so we know it's fixed/working. at least, on my side the only idea i can have of how well it's working is the videos ppl post here.

i have already ordered the imu you guys are using (and the baro from dyidrones) too due to these good results anyway so i can check by myself too soon i hope :P
