That's the motor that pushed my Funjet to 186mph at 2.3Kw

In stock form on a different airframe and mounted externally (very good cooling) i have ran 6s and 115 amps. It was around 2400 watts.

On a FJ mounted externally i would say 100 amps would be fine.

mounted in a poorly vented fuse i would say that would be a good number. when you can externally mount a motor with good airflow you can really push things.

Wise Guy,

Big watt numbers could be had with any motor ....some folks just add cells and reduce prop size.

Give consideration to the prop size that you want to run at 2000+W.

Good luck and have fun,

Gryphon

I had to have one of these, so I placed an Order with eRCMarket during the Thanksgiving break and I received them today! Everything to put in them is in the Basement waiting!

I looks like towerhobbies has changed the date back to mid December. It used to be January for awhile. Hopefully that's accurate on their part.

I was just a Tower myself doing my weekly check of "Ultra status". I would love it if they got them this month but that is probably not going to happen. I have seriously watched Tower push the funjet back a month every month since June???

I got tired of waiting and just ordered the "pogo" pylon racer to quench my need for speed.

They are not in stock and that price translates to $129 plus shipping. Last time I inquired there it was going to be $179 shipped to Texas.
