Personally I've never had good results with foam safe CA. It just never seemed to have good thick strong bonding IMO. Might work well with slow flying planes that don't have much stress on the wing and fuselage structure. Epoxy would work, but it seems too heavy for foam planes to me. The great thing about Gorilla glue is that a little goes a long way and it expands...so you get all those cracks and seems filled with glue.

You can find it at Lowes, Home Depot or any other hardware stores. I think it's at Walmart too...

I just used regular medium CA and accelerator like they tell you to. Mine's been good to 190+ mph.

Reg brown Gorilla glue or the fast drying white kind both work fine. Just depends on how long you want to wait for it to cure. If you have CA and accelerator you can try it and see how it works for you.

I use the 65's in my 140mph FJU, and 5085's in my 200 FJU, no issue with either.

Med CA and kicker in my 140mph FJU, and 30 minute epoxy in my 200mph FJU. I think both are fine in each. The epoxy is stronger a bit.

6.5x6.5 Graupner speed prop on 6S is perfect for that motor, runs it all day long. Need a good ESC and battery to run it to it's potential. Not really a good 4S motor, but 7x10 should be a good match if you wanted to try.

QUOTE=War Machine;23005390]moparmyway - would you say thats the best setup for the 1900kv SK3 - 6s2650 and 6.5X6.5 ?
Any idea what that motor would do with a 7X10 and 4s ?[/QUOTE]

Those will be fine. The FJ is going so fast that the faster you go the smaller and smaller the movement will be in the control surfaces for changing direction. So unless you plan on doing some 90 degree hard turns at 100+, there's really no need for expensive high torque servos.

You claim to be using the Himax 3514 2900KV for your setup, and the specs on that motor recommend 2s to 3s lipos. I'm guessing a 2200-3300mah 3s would work.

Bigger batts would serve you better as LVCO happens quickly @ 150+ amps

My Funjet likes to nose up under heavy throttle, cg is on the money with the tabs under the wings. Does it require up thrust or down thrust on the motor mount to remain more neutral?
