If rebuilding it, consider other windings if you can change cell count.
You will increase power and robustness. My 16/40/1.5RCE just got rebuilt into 16/40/2 F5D CE 100K I look forward to 6S, and 7S testing in next couple of months....maybe 12-20+ props on each cell count. I need low priced quality cells to put in series. Even though I went for 100K bearing upgrade, Mopar went for Boca Ceramic Hybrid option from Mega (oiled). Gryphon |

Any chance you can put the rx in the nose but run the antenna externally? I know the Hitec rx's have a slightly wierd antenna so it might cause probs.
IF you're struggling to come up with a solution, stick it where you were going to but do a few range tests. MPX advise their antennas are at 90 degrees to each other, which is virtually impossible in all of my planes, but I haven't had a prob when I don't do it like they advise. |
