Try and go down to 5.7 or 5.8 and see if it helps.
I have seen a few glitches at the LHS, mostly when voltage was set to default, that got cured when the voltage setpoint was changed, usually by going up.

Yep, changing the voltage helped but it took 3 attempts , 3rd was putting it to factory setting of 5.1v. I've tried different voltages again and it doesn't glitch so it seems ok, sticking with factory setting for now. But I'm not sure if I trust it enough to fly.

BUT
Willing daredevils @ my LHS have said not 1 single glitch again, some have "hundreds of flights" and actually pull out their planes and throw them up in the air, right there in the back parking lot.

I read about both of the motors in different posts, not sure which one you are starting out with(I lost track).

Does not make a difference to me....but you might not want to use a prop with enough pitch to make the plane very high speed capable "on a maiden flight".

So double check your static data by sending it Rim or other friends for review.

No need for aggressive prop during maiden....even if you intend to use lower throttle setting.

Howdy Gryph!!..Startin out with the 16/45/1.5...Rim has me set with the right prop......Dropped my wattage down from the prop I was gonna use..on Static test...our last day of heat was 107....now we're back in the low 90s...if the Maintenance crew is off the field gonna just get the feel with one good run then bring it in to see how the heat is...I like to baby my motors first and see how they take the heat rather than go all out...will do my usual 1 min. and 30 sec. flight...

Hope to receive my new FJU today....than I'll start work on the 16/30

I saw some 140's from the doppler. Nothing anywhere near 228. Did you link in the wrong video?

Oh wait. Did you mean 228 kph? Because that would be 141 mph.

Is there an original funjet thread or do most just hang out here? I remember yellow colorado had one but i can"t find it anymore.

Does anyone here have any experience positive or negative with these servos?

I have read horrible reviews, right after I bought some. Never used them before, but hard to believe they could be crap.
