Thanks, will try warming up batteries.

Ridge is now just a shadow, was thinking about it on the weekend and made the assumption that it played no major effect on control.

One strange thing I did notice on my most recent flights is that the funjet felt spongy when in a turn, kinda like the servos struggled to move surfaces.
Servos are hs65mg.
Will change the ubec output to 6v and see if it helps.

I put the 1450kv turnigy into my f27Q stryker once and ran 6s with 7x6 prop.
Wow talk about wing flex and servo strain.

Just wouldn't pull out of a dive without shutting the motor down.
Never liked that POS anyway.

Bring on the weekend!!

I use the same servos, but I reduced my max throw mechanicly to ~10mm, and I use dual rate to reduce them to ~6mm with 50% expo.
With a neutral to slightly rearward C of G it is still fine at 190mph.

Are you running the HK 190/200A esc also ?

is that 31200 rpm ?

MAN, are you running hs65 in that potential 200mph ultra, haha, lucky you, dont dive to much, else it wont pull upp and continue 1 meter down the ground

I am going for Hyperion 13 series servos, 8.2 kg holding power

One thing more, the lipos are sagging now, so the pitchspeed static is the same with the cutdown 6.5x7 as with the Garupner 6.5x6.5, so I dont think you will add that much more speed.. Maybee the 6.5x7 prop unloads a bit more, dont know..

With stronger lipos you would get more out of the 6.5x7 prop.

I got 2 gens ace 5300 6s 30c and 2 nano tech 5000 6s 45 c packs last week, tested under identical circumstances....the 30c gens packs had less then half the internal resistance as the nano packs. I new this but thought i would compare while they were all new. My opinion....a 30c gens ace is better then a 45c nano. Just my opinion based on my charging and discharging experience with them

Hobbypartz is the only place I can think of that sells Gens Ace, or maybe Nitroplanes, or Xheli. I think they are all related. Problem is finding one that size...I dont have time to check now, but Gens Ace packs are lighter then Your nano/Zippy/Flightmax so depends what you had in there, check the weight, you may be able to find a larger capacity pack with the same weight. If you were running a zippy 2650, I am pretty sure you could get a 3000 Gens at a very close weight, if in fact they make a 3000....again, there variety could use some expanding

6s 2600 25c but it's a true 25c which makes it close to a 40c Turnigy nano.

RPM was 31200rpm
Running the 190A hk ESC
Run dual rates and a little expo as well.
Prop/motor combo really unloads in the air. Awesome sound.

Checked for gens lipo in Australia mostly sold out.
Will possibly get zippy 6s 4000ma 45c this time.

Running a 3s setup as well just for laughs, all my stryker f27q gear and an old smashed up ultra with lots of glue. Slow

I.d like to know what all you guys are running/ Your latest setup?
Motor,ESC,servos,ect.

New Motor

I bought a Neu 1115/2.5D for an F5D project, but I think it needs to make a few Funjet appearances first. I am interested to see how it compares to my....

Mega 16/40/1.5rc
HET 2W-30

Interested.... anyone try the 1115/2.5D on a Funjet or similar airframe?
