Hey Jurgen,

I'm glad you mentioned the right combination of parts, you keep recommending the Graupner 6x5.5 prop.

Problem is if you buy the recommended power system from a US dealer more that likely it will included an APC 6x5.5

On the Multiplex website - no mention of using a Graupner prop, as a matter of fact, part # 73 3195 does not even have the Graupner name listed.

As for the recommended 3S 3200mAh 80/160C lipo - Look like a nice pack, At 74.00 Euros it better be.

However I am pretty sure you will have a hard time finding a handful of US FJ Ultra owners who are using this pack.

Interesting, mine came with the graupner.

Where you guys getting the Graupner 6x5.5's in the US? I've been flying the APC 6x4 and thought I'd step up.

Hobby Lobby had them for a few days but they are gone.

Thx GS....is HL the only US distributor?? My guess is that with shipping, they're around $10 delivered (or 2x props for $15, no big deal).

Are they really worth it; ie, that much better than the APC 6*4? Recall that I'm running the Grayson hobby SuperMejaJet combo on 3S/30C

I don't know if they are the only US distributor. I ordered some from the LHS and they said it might be awhile. So I did an internet search and found the 6x5.5's at icare/icarus and ordered a few from them. S&H to Los Angeles was 8.50 airmail, shipped in a box (vs envelope) with no issues. I have an APC 6x5.5 I bought as a spare before I found the Graupners. I bored and balanced it but haven't flown the APC though. Hope this helps. Sounds like a nice combo. How does it fly?

New Creations R/C I just got a couple Graupner 6x6 from him this week.

New creations rc is a cool company and shipping is reasonable too.

Thx Johnny....$15 shipped for a single prop, and they're out....<sigh>

Oh well, they must be good, nobody can seem to keep em in stock!
