Peter,
Thank you for the reference to Wingrove. I did visit his website and
found some notes on molding solid tires for static display. The Model
Maker article was about tires for tethered model cars, and may have
addressed the semi-pnuematic tire, which is what I'm after.

The tires that I'm interested in are miniature, semi-pneumatic, rubber
tires for model tether cars. Reproduction, neoprene rubber tires are
available, but the selection is very limited. I suppose there is an
RTV resin that would work for this application, but I not up to speed
on that material (no pun intended), or the mold making method, which
is what I'm after.
