jack stalks a MAIDEN FLIGHT

jack vs ladybug (5 min 43 sec)

THE MAIDEN FLIGHT OFF THE DININGROOM TABLE WAS MADE SHORT JUST TO SHOW x THEN JACK got involved, he is too cautious to touch it but he wants to .

the quad is EXTREMELY SENSITIVE TO TOUCH about twice as my mCP x so until I get used to it it will dance around. The LHS said DO NOT ATTEMPT TO FLY in high rate ONLY in low rate
h r is a killer
and I now BELIEVE HIM

Smart cat........

Barry....Running into probs with my 206 which have essentually carried over from the MD500 fuse. I highly suspect I need an 11T pinion instead of a 15.

Just pulled a brand new 3500KV motor with 11T pinion already installed out of the parts bin, good to go.

Got the motor and pinion swapped out. Turned the heat on in the shed, no motivation to go out there and do anything but maybe tomorrow I'll feel like it. Still not that great as it's 60deg in the shed and 45deg outside. BUT the wind did drop off a lot, that helps. There's an air gap between the rollup door and the door casing. After I box that rollup door in with drywall, no cold air can come in that way, it'll stay a lot warmer in there.

Just messing with my 206 for now and shopping for stuff for the Harley re-build this winter.

Super. Man, I wish my shed was warm......next year I 'll have a real shop. Got to fly just a bit with my donor mechs for the 206......flew solid (and I didn't crash thank God...lol) Finishing up seams and touch up on the fuse....hoping we have a couple of warm days to get color on.

Gotta run....later

The 11T pinion was just what the doctor ordered. Just remember, 3500KV minimal, 4200KV mated up with a 60A ESC preferred in these scalers. A UBEC is a good insurance policy too.

So my Avitar pictured heli is now operational again.........

Did the stunt settings, they're "OK". The whole thing needs perfecting still, that's how it works. Find the settings that work for you. I know I get a lot of ground effect in the basement, so it's kind'a hard to get things right till you're outside.
