Well....I did the adjustments to the pitch and throttle to get more up/down snap while in idle up. Feels pretty good now but I spent two of my three batteries making the adjustments. Don't matter though, wind is up pretty good and I need an open field and less wind to test 'er out. Lots of other projects pending, so no lack of things to do anyway. Bathtub drain in the front bathroom is leaking into the basement....might be a good day to tackle that project.

HELLO from the middle of Brazil

into the third full day of this trip...things are beginning to get better
The temp. now came down a bunch and today was a truly livable day.
Found and purchased a converter to take down the V from 220 to 110
They show enough wattage and amperage to satisfy the requirements
of the power chair BUT when I put in the Norelco shaver to charge, the
green light doesn't come on....conq. there is some kind of defect and it
needs to be taken back to the electric store to find out what gives. What a
bummer it would be if I were not able to charge up the power chair !
no access here to anything Hobby or RC .... this is a really small town
and there is NO hobby shop at all. The RC field I discovered back in 2009
is miles away and my presence in the house looking after my Mother is
used by my bro. to get some well deserved weekend days off. Driving me
to the RC is out of the question
To ALL my pals in the thread : remind yourselves to be HAPPY to be living
in the USA.....the only and the best place in this planet ....( can you tell
homesickness when you read it ?
RICK

VIC it's great to read how busy you keep yourself ! do you think you'd be
wanting to see if you can help me re-arrange the angles on the blades of
the INNOVATOR ? when I get back home

Rick.......LMAO. I could TRY but I dont have a CLUE about innovators unless it's just radio changes you need to make. To be honest...I'd have to read up on the DX7 because I forgot how to program it.

No heli today, no basement leak fixed either. HOWEVER.....I did run the winch power wires from the truck main battery thru the frame to the trailer hitch reciever. Think I'll go get the M/F plug ends, it'll be complete except for the plow it's self. Wind isn't real bad today, something will fly. Probibily be the F-16 I'm thinking. It's been a LONG time since I've flown it.

FROM BRAZIL ||||||||European update

The European Commission has just announced an agreement whereby English will be the official language of the European Union rather than German, which was the other possibility.
As part of the negotiations, the British Government conceded that English spelling had some room for improvement and has accepted a 5-year- phase-in plan that would become known as Euro_English.
In the first year, " s " will replace the soft " c "
Sertainly, this will make the sivil servants jump with joy. The hard " c " will be dropped in favour of " k ". This should klear up konfusion and keyboards kan have one less letter.
There will be growing publik enthusiasm in the sekond year when the troublesome " ph " will be replaced with " f ". This will make words like fotograf 20% shorter.
In the third year, publik akseptanse of the new spelling kan be expekted to reach the stage where more komplikated changes are possible.
Governments will enkourage the removal of double letter which have alway ben a deterent to akurate speling.
Also, al wil agre that the horibl mes of the silent " e " in the languag is disgrasful and it should go away.
By the 4th yer people wil be reseptiv to steps such as replasing " th " with "z" and " w " with " v "
During ze fifz yer, ze unesesary " o " kan be dropd from vords kontaining " ou " and after ziz fifz yer, ve vil hav a reil sensibl riten styl.
Zer vil be no mor trubl or difikultis and evrivun vil find it ezi tu understand ech oza. Ze drem of a united urop vil finali kum tru.
Und efter ze fifz yer, ve vil al be speking German like zey vunted in ze forst plas.
If zis mad yu smil, plis pas on to oza pepl. ALFRED H

OMG I feel like a sap! Rick, as I started reading your letter I stopped and called my wife and said, come listen to this. It wasn't until I read down almost to the end that I realized you were pulling our legs, you rascal you. Yes indeed you did give us both a smile. Continue to have fun enjoy your mom and your brother take care, John

Rick,
Hello Rick, say as long as you're there in Brazil bring me back about 250 pounds of their best dark roasted coffee, I'd appreciate it.
