Yup...those days happen. I got to fly my Uproar today with Jay's APC prop....worked out well. Take off was a 3ft roll, and then vertical to above the tree tops.

Ivan,

That's wicked.. I'm guessing that would run over 85 grand or more for something like that.

Jay,
40 or 50, it still sounds cool.

Kyle,
Glad ya had a good time. At least it wasn't the 50, stuck in a tree.

Off to go have some french fries, I'm on a new kick now. Love the fries. LMAO!

Later,
Dave

I personally want to see video of you flying this great Biplane!

God Bless Ya Rick!
AND THANKS A MILLION for the opportune REFERALL to the thread in RCU.
I went there looking for some guidance on the electric hookup but the whole thread was alive until about last year. Just some sporadic entries appear now in 2010. Still I posted my question and I thank you AGAIN for your very TIMELY guidance.
I am almost decided that I will buy one of the systems : still I want to hear from users who have experience.
The HEAT is easing up down here and I am able to continue the HELIS and setting up the workshop/house / garage, so I keep busy. My heli flying is doing great : have only ONE break so far, tipped over and snapped one blade on the SR. Other than that ALL the helis are getting their work out again.
THANK YOU FOR THE TIP
I'll let you know what results come in

RICK

Startup

WITH THE TEXAS OVEN turned down to a reasonable 80+ I can now come back to life again.
I re-charged all batteries and made a trial flight with the TREX/HUGHES
out in the front driveway.Worth mention: both the INNOVATORS, both the HBK2 , the HBK3 "and" the
AXE400 are also flying well. The RAPTOR still sits, untouched, it is SO MUCH WORK to make it go .
I am now flying all positions, everywhere, but the space around the house is much too tight...!
The area is tight: a MailBox, huge tree, house in the back, traffic back and forth so I did not do any FF.
It just shows how much difference upgrading the batt.+ ESC has done to make this project work well.
RICK
I also did a flight with a HBK3 carrying the camcorder but the camcorder seems to have failed

Rick,
It seems to me that the higher head speed preforms better. Is that your take on it? Beautiful looking Rex

God Bless!!

Man Jim,
This is really interesting. The breaks between sets are educational on the mistreating of animals and also the how major industrial corps are making our food. We have a few farmer markets around here and it's always the best stuff... instead of food that has been pumped full of antibiotics, steroids, and crap.

Blessings.

Yeah..and after all that.....I grilled some steaks today.
Talk about "enjoy your meal".
More like "enjoy your chemicals".

I remember my Grandfather killing, skinning, cleaning, and cooking a rabbit...they lived on a mountain farm.
Natural meat.

Jim

Ps...yes it was good meat....natural rabbit meat.
