This is what I've been into lately.
Seems I went back to my roots.

When my son was 7? (currently 11) he had a Storm Launcher (original-full size) and we had a blast.

These are MODIFY-ABLE .
I can wire in my own lipos. There are even brushless kits available.
I had both of them up in the air the other day at the Forest Preserve.
Plus my son found his ORIGINAL S.L. from when he was 7. Little broken up but it can be used for spare parts etc.
The two in the pic I got brand new via Ebay for a great price. Same seller so shipping was a breeze.
Very nice. I bet if I wanted to I could use a hobby grade tx/ rx with it and have infinite control. Fun times.

BTW - I need another stock lipo and charger for them. If anyone knows where to get one please let me know.

Still fly the helis about twice a week or so out front. Well, the Lama4 flies, the HBK3 hovers...lol. Pilot traing req'd.

Also, picked out my wedding band yesterday. You have never seen anything like this...well maybe some of you have. It's not even gold

JPEE,

One thing I noticed on Justins camera mount in the video, is at time frame 12 seconds or so. You can see that there is a foam type insulation between the camera mounting bracket and the camera. In the picture of yours, it's mounted right to the metal frame work. Just an observation.

Looks like Hobbycity / Hobbyking is in the USA now also. Their moving stock in all the time. Just be careful on ordering for now and where it's coming from and shipping prices.
I'm sure in the long run, it'll be a cost saver for all.

It's all in marketing. Their bean counters watch every product sold and know where to invest their money. Actually for them, it's a great move, and for the heli consumers in the USA. I did that for 9 years, kinda boring actually, being a bean counter.

Ivan,

Put yourself on the "New Stock Alert", just below the "Add to Cart" icon.
I've done that before and it saves you from checking all the time.

Oly_rcer,

Yes, Arrow was the instigator several years ago on the Weeeee Thread over on RCU. And he brought alot of guys together in a tight bond. We miss his posts, but he does on occasions check in. Next time you're out flying with him, give him our best.

Feel free to chime in, whenever you feel the need, or advise from some of the members.
