Only heli I flown are my indoor ones like my MSR, MCX tandem. I do not think the wind is ever going to let me take my SR outside where I can get some real practice in.

Kyle,
You have to get some video of that Vision when you get that camcorder

Vic,
Yeah, I didn't fly anything either but the snow is gone so I went in the backyard and scooped poop. 3 dogs @ 4 months is an amazing mess
I did one 5 gallon pale and that was less than half the yard
Ya gotta love spring cleaning

Jeff,
Let us know what happens with the batts. Commonsense RC just ended a sale on 1s 150mah batts for the MSR and such for $13. They often repeat the sales. It might be a good deal.

title thing... don't know what this does.. Yet!

Chopper / Dave checking in...

Seems like I'm always a day late and a dollar short. But, I'm a Tippy-Toe kinda guy and don't rush into things... Yawn, Yawn....

I did get a couple flights in on the HK 450 Pro TT the couple days ago, sweet. The mod I did on the vertical tail fin, to elevate it, is gonna help from stripping the "Umbrella Gears" for sure. Got the Trex 600 going too, that was a rush.
Now the weather turned crappy again. So, I'm in the perpetual holding pattern for right now.

Question, where do I look to find the "Band of Brothers" site. Put that on the Weeee thread.

I never paid much attention to wind or breezes till I started trying to fly. In over 3 months I have not found a suitable day for learning to fly do to winds or strong breezes. I emailed a local RC club asking if they new of anywhere that flying is allowed or done indoors like an auditorium, gym or somewhere. Norm emailed me back and said he did not know of anywhere and would be a great idea to find some place to fly inside. He was surprise this subject has never come up with the club. He invited me to their next club meeting and picnic where I can suggest this idea. I would love to find a place to fly my Ember 2 and SR inside with out any wind. When I get where I can fly my SR then I will finish building my T-Rex 500 ESP which I have been told will deal with some wind much better then the SR. I just need to practice where I have the room and not any wind.

Here is the clubs web site.

Jeff,
My last club was successful when contacting local schools to use there Gyms. A lot of Churches also have large gyms to use as well. Maybe just some knocks on doors might get you a great flying area. Those batts look like a good deal. If I'm seeing it right they say Flightmax which is Zippy. I just bought two of those only a bit bigger... 4s 4000 mah

Dave,
Howdy Mister

JPEE and Dave,
The credit should go to Rick for very well spoken words in the first post.

Hey all,
Ozzie just wanted to say "Hi"

Blessings,

Jay

46,
I just bought 10 of those from Hobby King for like $1.59 each. They work ok but ARE NOT as good as the Parkzone. I get an extra 1 to1.5 min and more power with the Eflite or Parkzone.
