Cheap receiver

Here's a deal that I consider CHEAP...

purchased from HongKong, for a $6.00 shipping/handling fee, took TEN business days to arrive in Houston.
ACTUAL CHARGE is $ 25.00 (not $ 31.00) can't Xplain this part !

Why did I pay $99 for the previous ones ? I feel robbed (now ! )

since I am HERE : I am not understanding a single thing posted in this thread.....
when did it CHANGE into surface vehicles ????

Hello Mr. Ricky, now that we spoken on the phone you should be in good shape. I sent the promised email and and also a PM with the information.
Take care and get the heck out of the house and fly!

Today I got to take out my 450 Pro. I also put two packs through the old foamie plank the "Apprentice". Then finally I got a flight on the 600 T-REX.
HeliHobby just called and my 500 tail box came in OUCH!!!!!!!!!!!$$$$$$$. Now I have everything to rebuild it, about $200.00 in damages to the 500. So now I will bring her back and then do my Blade 400's. I got a shipment of "budget" parts from HK, ESC's, servos, blades and such and will rebuild the (2) 400's cheaply. The ESC's and servos I saw a guy using at the field and he flies 3D but a bit slower like a soft dance with heli. It was quit impressive. He has been in hobby he said 20 years and said he is done with the high end parts and now only flies clones and HK electrics. Well thats it from California...OUT.

Here's a Car-copter, you need one of these.

JPEE_ Ouch on the repair bill! Guess it's part of the hobby and can be expected at some time. Take solace in knowing we have all been there at some point!

JPEE,

Ouch on the 500 from me too. When you have a single crash that cost ya that much, you sometime wonder about the less expensive clones and just upgrading a couple major components. The one thing that I'm not crazy about the Align Company, is you can't just buy a barebone. It's always a combo deal. There's a few under the table sales like that, but not authorized by Align. That's on the QT though.

You should be on the final stretch on the remodel job.

Dave

Real,

Never had one that big, that's one awesome racer for sure. You'll be needing a big azz motor for that puppy. I love the profile on those. A lean mean flying machine.

Real- Let us know what you think of the kit as you build it. Sure looks nice, the trim scheme is excellent. What power plant do you plan to use?

All the regular guys know this already but I have an 89" Dynaflite Super Decathlon that hasn't seen air time in 3 years now Just no time for the big stuff anymore. The G38 has about 15 total minutes on it and still isn't fully broken in yet

Wow Dave- you have a hard drive full of all our old pics? Don't know if it was posted in this thread yet but my all time favorite is LookyJ on the 17th floor in LA and the resulting carnage!
