I ordered my floats from my LHS ,bought my f cub there too. I have been buying from them for 20+ years and they give me 20% off of list price ,Fun cub was 100 even out the door . Sometimes small stuff might cost me a buck or two more but i like helping to keep them around. We have 2 to 3 inches of snow coming tonight plus 25 mph winds. joe

I got a set of those Dubro parkfkyer skis they released at Christmas. They still dig in( too big a prop) but are great for snow covered roads...mine just keep flipping vertical and the plane is hard to fly like that

Multiplex Nano-S in the wings and Tiny-S for the rudder/elevator.

The ones he posted here look good because they are spring loaded and adjustable .The Skies need to be high in the front so they dont dig in but it still need to have stops on it . I had built home made ones long ago and used rubber bands to hold the front tips up. . joe

my fix took 5min, cost me zero parts (not even solder), looks completely OEM and unmodded and i watched tv while doing it. i actually became smarter watching tv because i know better and stay away from crap like honey boo boo. tv has many channels and if you can only find stuff that kills brain cells, you're doing it wrong

Rather than watch tv i scratch build planes in my spare time off of work . Iam a run a large construction conpany and work alot out in the field and from my computer at home so not much time to waist watching tv. Just a couple from over the 60 or 70 of my planes i have built rather than watch tv and i have 4 new ones under construction now. Its your tv so help your self but remember the man who dies with the most toys wins,lmao joe

Can anyone confirm that the EasyCub and FunCub fuselage (the shells) are identical? I think I might be able to salvage my 'Got Rocks' FunCub by just grafting on a new nose and reengineering a better gear mounting system!

I was hoping thats what they were iam using hitec 55's on my flaps and bigger hitec 81''s on my ail. plus 55's on the rest. Thanks Mark . Cub crafter they look the same but one half has alighning holes and the other half has the foam round dowl's for the holes. . I dont see why you could not make a new nose for it tho. Home depo sells sheets of thick foam and with a little time you could cut a piece and sand it to shape to graft it on. joe
