My CG is right on the front spar....it is perfect for my taste...good arobatics...yet docile......and I still have room to slide my batt. 3s1p 2800mah...fore or aft....so, you shold have no problem getting yours to balance...

I pretty much stick the batt back until I feel it almost all the way back to the hole and then do a quick cg check.

My planes CG is right on when my 3S/2200 is slid back towards the rear with the middle of the lipo under the planes CG, almost all the way back. ESC is to the back of the front bay on the floor. Easy to hook up and fly's great. Dave/zeezee

Mine is back almost covering all of the hole.

Hi guys, i have a e-flight 400 motor with a 940 kv i think ,how do you guys think it would fly my FC with 3-cell 2200 lipo ? Iam not very electrict savy but i can fly and want some good power to hover if i want. joe

I use the e-flite 480 960 KV and it is a light build. I will almost hover. Maybe with a bigger prop but amps could be an issue. Unless someone else says otherwise my guess is you need more to hover. The 400 is pretty light for this big a model.

Nice for a slow stick though.

Follow this link for recomendations on power systems. Note the weight of each motor as that is a good weight. Both motors match more or less the systems sold for the Cub. You will note that both systems put out up to 27 amps which is WAY more power than a 400.

Maidened my FC yesterday. 2 clicks of right aileron trim needed was all I needed for trim. Sweet! Not happy with the floppy landing gear on my rough flying field, ordered the articulated Cub gear.

The guy who made mine has a cheap simple gear system that works. I will take pics if there is interest. Wires, plywood and two collets

I used a Hobby King tail wheel bracket. Others are using a Sullivan assembly.
