Here can you get the transmitter cover: Turnigy Transmitter Glove (2.4Ghz/Neckstrap Ready)

When it's realy cold i use the HobbyKing Universal Heater System in the Transmitter Glove.
I power the heater with a 11,1v lipo and iet keeps mij hands warm.
It works great for me.

Living in Southern California I don't know what all the fuss about hand warmers is . I went out last weekend and shot some video with the fun cub with my GoPro on it while my friend flew around behind me trying to fallow close behind. I edited the video to show the best shots, gonna head out this weekend and try and do some more fun video stuff with the versatile little fun cub.

GoPro on RC Fun Cub flying with P-47 (1 min 45 sec)

That's what I did, however it's not easy with these small servos especially where you're soldering something that's down the bottom of a narrow plastic body.

Usually we have no need for a transmitter warmer her in Florida either. This year we have had a shortage of cold fronts so we have had a summer wind pattern. 0-3 mph for days on end in the morning.81 degrees for a high.

Where do you get air conditioned gloves to keep your hands cool?

It's really easy for some and less so for others. Lot easier to pop in a new servo this way.

Do you have this glove? It looks like it is too small to fit a DX 6i/7/8 size transmitter.

I just ordered the TX glove/heater also. We'll see how it works in the single digit wx.

While we warm weather flyers get to send you reports of warm flying days, we don't get to use skis! Most of the accessible water around me is salty and so floats are out too. Enjoy!

Yes, plenty of room. I used it with a DX7 last winter when it was around 0 degrees C. We are in the midst if Summer now with a forecast top of 39C today, so not getting any use of the glove at the moment.

I actually have both types and prefer this one for cold and the other one to protect the transmitter from moisture if their is any rain around.

I decided to purchase the larger glove and heater. Todays high is -5C and low is -17C.

HK is offering a discount through the following link for the Turnigy Glove. It will only cost you $9.84.
