Like he said above.
Electric motors don't mind getting wet, In fact they will run under water.
So just drain out any water and fly again, Running the motor will dry it out.

Be careful when making an unplanned landing to dill the throttle before impact.
A wet ESC is another thing all together.

Water is a poor conductor. I've plucked planes out of a lake, shook them off a little, and put them back in the air without a thought.

So this must mean my motor from Easystar 2 could be fine as well. I haven't tried it. I was going to throw the plane with a little too much weight on it and it just dived from my hand into the lake. Started smoking immediately (ESC).
How about servos? I believe some of them also hit the water.

Finally posting on this thread since getting my RR FC on Friday! So happy to finally get one since I have been wanting one for a few yrs now. Like it! I am a sucker for dark cherry red metalic. My motorcycles have a habit of being that color. Your Funcub's color is close enough to it to give me an idea. And it is again that very simple treatment. You guys are making my thinking on my Telemaster much easier! Might even do another Funcub without all the stickers. eep it simple. More of a scale look.

Actually I had a bicycle once that got pretty scraped up and I repainted it almost exactly the color of your plane. Maybe a little lighter , but not much. Looks real good!

Distilled water is an insulator. Had a demo lab that showed that. When salts are dissolved it becomes a better and better conductor. Salt is a polar molecule and when dissolved the positive and negative poles of the water molecule line up and conduct electricity.
