I have one for helping electric pilots get the most out of their systems. There are dozens of battery connectors out there. With a Wattmeter, I would need a pigtail for each style on each end. Lots of time, soldering, and cost. With a DC clamp meter, I can just clamp and see amps. Easy.

OK, but your premise is the simplicity of the clamp meter is why someone should spend $50. If you are in the hobby for more than one plane you figure out how to solder and standardize your battery connectors. If not, you buy adapters.

I'll just stick with the 12-6 sense it's working for me but I do find it hard to find there is no generic prop range for a particular size motor with a particular kv. Im not looking for the optimal, perfect prop, just the suggested diameter for the motor and the suggested pitch for the plane and I'd be satisfied

Good morning Aero104, I really enjoyed your video flying skills and I even hijacked your video over to another thread to show the guys. Are your aileron throws higher then the stock setup? My FC rolls so slowly that I'm thinking of making adjustments to either the servo arm or control horns. Im Running recommended differential.

Hey thanks. I was thinking of doing it the same with the same hardware, but I didn't like the way the wing "end" was 90 degrees to the airflow. I think I got it solved by making pylons on the wing. The fuselage end will attach to a tab coming off the landing gear and sweep forward of the wing to meet the gear.

Too windy for my skill level, too far away, too low and dum-thumbed it as a gust hit it. all my own fault! Sigh...I'll have it ready for next weekend!

When you do the repair, would you be able to take some photos and document the process on this forum. This may help out when I inevitably recreate your crash .
