I think this KV will require a prop around 11X8 with a 3s battery (had one on my Apprentice)

BTW, What's wrong with the classic 35-36C 1100kv or the 35-42 1100kv with a 10X5 prop?

Im running a 35-36C-1100Kv with a 10x5 prop on my PKZ T-28, will this same setup be a good for float flying as well with the Fun Cub?

I think the last time I checked it on my eflite watt meter it was like 380+ watts on the APC 10x6E pulling like 34 amps static.

Hey Dredd

How about giving these a try. http://www.pyrocreations.com/inc/sdetail/567/81003

Here is some video I found
Pop Pop snappers demo (0 min 51 sec)

I tried these Adult snaps last year and they were crazy loud. Hopefully I will have an FC up by the 4th this year.

P.S. watch who's standing beneath the drop zone!

I had both 35-36 and 35-42 1100kv on my FC, both with APC10X5 and let's just say I fly until my neck hurts with a single 3000mAh lipo...
I never even go above 50% throttle after take off.

In "float flying" you mean like 3d hover or just super slow roundabouts?

Don't think available in the UK Lokey and probably not work dropped on our grass field.

Did drop some water bombs today (one at a time), near miss on my Dad, he jumped out the way as he was tending a fire, nearly got him.

Likely a result of that age you mentioned on the Minimoa thread. I'm sure I'm only a year or so older and find that my eyes do tend to spend more time closed the last year or two. <- Looks like somebody that fell asleep with their tongue hanging out.

Finally took some photos of the Cub in flight. I am getting some great flights out of this little bugger. One think that is a fact, you need to be all over that rudder when the flaps are down.

I like it! Very nice!

The light blue is a kind of metallic silver/blue? I think I will paint my FC in a similar way (if you don't mind )...
